Someone in the office came across the home that inspired Tony Stark’s house in the Iron Man movies (it’s real, but not quite as extravagantly located). Instead of talking about that actual home, we launched into a debate about Stark’s fictional palace and the many, many expensive things he’d keep inside. Debating his home lead us to another fictional character with billions of dollars and penchant for fighting crime: Batman.

AICN claims that Jason Statham will be the main bad guy in F&F7, playing the older brother to the character Luke Evans plays inF&F6. (You might recall that Statham was once rumored to play the baddie in 6.) What’s more, the site claims that this year’s film will loop back to the events of Tokyo Drift, finally explaining how that film fits into the overall timeline of the ever-more-extensive action series.

Peter Dinklage relies on nothing but his wits to get ahead on Game of Thrones, but now he’s looking to pick up some real powers. The Golden Globe winner has just boarded Bryan Singer‘s X-Men: Days of Future Past, in a role that has yet to be revealed.
Dinklage is the first fresh face in the cast, which so far consists of returning stars fromX-Men: First Class (James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult) and the original X-Men trilogy (Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, Hugh Jackman,Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore).

Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg have been talking about their work consulting on Star Wars: Episode 7 and writing the announced set of stand-alone spin-ff films set within the Star Wars galaxy. The Los angeles Times also caught up with Kasdan at the Final Draft Hall of Fame ceremony and got him to talk a bit more about the upcoming Star Wars movies.
When asked about published reports that the spin-off movies might focus on Yoda, a young Han Solo or Boba Fett, Kasdan would not confirm the rumors but insisted that “he wasn’t focusing on his previous scripts or on the extended Star Wars universe in his approach to writing the new film.” This is an interesting quote which could be read a number of ways. Does it mean they won’t look at the expanded universe backstory of Han Solo to help lay the groundwork for a young Solo spin-off movie?
